The last thing this soldier felt were the claws of a monstrosity long ago relegated to haunting the minds and myths of man dig deep into all too solid flesh and bone. Spilling soupy entrails onto the sandy floor and bellowing a fearful song of liquid verse and madness as it did.

A new breed of dinosaur like predator, stumbled upon in a modern warzone. :D Part of a series that I was working on for fun... It was originally just concept art (heavily influenced by velociraptor studies) but I liked the original pencil art so much that I finished it and worked it into the story.

This became part of my creative writing final, and because of that the whole sequence is very very poetic and wordy, not a good stand alone comic book. But I like this page anyways...
It's based off of some other art I've seen around the web, of dinosaur attacks and of course Jurassic Park.

I did the whole 11 page comic in one night, so i guess this took about 45 minutes to an hour :D I was pretty out of it by the end of the drawing spree, so it's hard to say

I have an issue... I cant quite figure out what the dinosaur did to the guy... did he kick him or what?? it doesnt look like he slashed him... >:/ *tries to figure it out* well either way its nicely done :D teh dinosaur is very kool :XD:

Lol, it's supposed to have slashed him as it leapt by. The attempt was to make it look dynamic, but it just ended up kinda meh :P

ohhhh ok i see it now.... i would have put his hand more at an angle but ehh thats just me. when you say what actually happened it makes a bit moar sense...
